Our shows are held at the gorgeous and award-wining Storey’s Field Centre, in the Eddington area of Cambridge. (Storey’s Field Centre, Eddington Avenue, Cambridge, CB1 3AA).
Parking
There is some – albeit very limited – parking outside the venue. We’d recommend parking at Madingley Road Park & Ride (Madingley Road, Cambridge, CB3 0EU) as they offer free parking for 18 hours, there are literally hundreds of spaces, and it’s a 5ish minute walk from the venue. Once you’ve parked, don’t head towards the main road, look for yellow floor markings that lead to a gate, and then turn left.
Timings
The venue’s main doors open at 5.30. This is also the same time our food van will start serving, as well as the venue’s bar opening. Doors to the auditorium open at 6pm, with the first bell at 6.30. There will be an interval and we aim to be finished by 10pm, allowing ample time for travel back to the city centre, or to either train station.
Public Transport
Stagecoach Bus 4 goes down Madingley Road to Cambridge City Centre. Buses 5 and 6 go down Huntingdon Road, towards Cambridge City Centre. Cambridge is served by two train stations, Cambridge and Cambridge North. Cambridge is on the Stagecoach Bus 1 and 3 routes to Cambridge City Centre, and Cambridge North is on the Stagecoach Bus 2 route to Cambridge City Centre. The Whippet Universal ‘U’ bus runs from Cambridge Station to right outside the venue (the final stop, “Eddington Sainsbury’s”).
Accessibility
There are a few Blue Badge disabled spaces outside the venue. Access is via a slight ramp (or a couple of steps) and – once inside – everything is on one flat level.
Food and Drink
Storey’s Field Centre is a fully licensed premises, serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks (including a wide range of Brewboard craft beers). The bar takes cash or card, although they prefer card. We will also have a food van outside the venue for each event.
The Hyatt Centric hotel – literally across the road from the venue – has bars and restaurants which are open to the public.
